BUCS INK CUTCH FOR 6 YEARS

Last night, the Pittsburgh Pirates signed their all-star center fielder Andrew McCutchen to a 6 year deal, worth $51.5 million. I think this is a great step in the right direction for this organization. In the past, the front office was not willing to give long term contracts to their young star players and ultimately ended up losing them to free agency or trading them away for almost nothing. Signing McCutchen shows that they are committed to turning this team into a successful one. With McCutchen and all of the other talented they have groomed, i am hopeful that they will become a championship caliber team in the next few years. #letsgobucs!

  1. This is a great deal for the Pirates and for Cutch. The Pirates haven't had this good of an outfield in awhile. They also signed Tabata for a big deal. Getting these young players to commit to big deals is going to help us out greatly with building that championship team we've all been waiting for.
